Near contemporary ownership inscription on free endpaper- "Mordecai Cary" (?) 1710 with 13 lines of neat manuscript notes in a similar contemporary hand. From the Macclesfield (North) Library, with large their printed label and Press Mark in ink on pastedown. Some minimal browning in places, but generally clean and fresh. Contemporary full calf, ruled in blind on upper and lower boards; raised bands on back, faded, and dusty; red page edges..
