Availability
As with most booksellers, books sold from an Internet site are
not always removed as quickly as they might be. We try to keep
our listings as up to date as possible, however, we cannot guarantee
absolutely that every book listed is actually available for
sale. |

|
Printed Catalogues
Our intention is to publish conventionally printed catalogues.
If you would like to be placed on a mailing list to receive
such catalogues, please contact us here... |
|
|
Condition of Books
We endeavour to describe books as accurately as possible, noting
any faults or blemishes. All books may be assumed to be complete
unless otherwise stated. |
|
|
Bibliographical References
We use bibliographical references when describing books. If
any are unclear or in any way confusing, please ask us. |

Purchasing From Us
If you wish to order any book(s) it is helpful to quote the
author’s name, a short title and also the ID number of
the book. Please contact us here... |

Despatch
Books are insured by us and are usually sent Royal Mail (1st
Class Recorded Delivery inland or Airmail Printed Paper Recorded
Delivery overseas). When we send large groups of books they
are sent by 48 hour recorded parcel (Parcelforce) inland, and
by Standard International (Air) overseas. We are also well used
to using Courier (inland) and Air Courier services (overseas).
The chargeable costs includes the actual cost of carriage (including
a small Recorded Delivery cost - 63p inland and £2.60
overseas) Insurance at 0.25% inland and 0.5% overseas, and a
very small amount to cover packing and handling. |

|
Payment
We invoice our books in pounds sterling (GBP), but we do accept
payment in other currencies, provided the amount credited to
our account meets the invoice total after payment of all bank
charges, and any costs of converting currencies. For overseas
clients it is recommended payment be made by Visa or Mastercard.
Please provide card type, card number, expiry date, exact name
as on card, cardholder address and delivery address, if different.
Payment by sterling cheque drawn on a UK bank and cash payments
are acceptable. |

|
Returns
If any purchaser is unhappy with any book supplied by us we
will accept the item back without any question, provided we
are notified within two weeks from the date of invoice and that
the book is returned promptly, safely and with no damage. |

Valuations
We are pleased to value books for Insurance, for Probate and
for other purposes. We charge for this service (refundable if
we subsequently purchase, or advise to conclusion on a sale
of a collection). Please ask for details. We usually need to
examine books that we have been asked to value. We are happy
to travel to visit clients. |
