Quarto, pp. 4 + 161; 12 + 216 pp., 42 + 19 + 6 engr. plates of coins. (67 finely engraved plates in total, mostly by Francis Perry; some age-browned, and loose. Complete. Contemporary full calf, boards loose , and some pages loose, but a complete copy; with the red morocco title label, gilt, surviving; back very worn; marbled endpapers; contemporary armorial engraved bookplate of Samuel George Smith on pastedown; neat signature of R. S. Cotton on title page. Probably Robert Salusbury Cotton (c. 1715 - 1790) Apothecary, of Crown Street, Westminster. FSA. 1774; FRS 1778. His collection, including "the finest known" "Petition Crown" , and other important pieces was sold by Mr. Hutchins, 1-5 June, 1790. (See Manville Biographical Dictionary and Encyclopaedia I. 1790-8.
