Originally purchased from Spinks in 1935 (for £2.10.6) with their label on endpaper, and initialled in pencil by G. C. B(rooke).

BNS original member, 1903, Council 1905, Librarian 190614, President 191519, 192832, Vice-President 192027, 1933, Sanford Saltus Medallist 1920. His important collection of English, Scottish, Irish, Anglo-Hanoverian, Ancient and Foreign coins, and numismatic books was sold in 1,195 lots at Sothebys, 2024 November 1933.
