Description	Text and Plates. Large octavo; upwards of 120 pages of text; maps; 10 finely printed, and beautiful, plates of exceptional coins taken from the author's fabulous collection. Original coloured wrappers, minor wear, chipped, and somewhat brittle. Very rare. (one of 100 copies or possibly less produced). Ownership inscription on each upper cover: Alfred R Bellinger. The exceptional Frank Sherman Benson collection was sold in a major auction at Sotheby's, London 3-11 February 1909. The present series was never completed- as the owner died in February 1907.
