Quarto, engraved vignette of obverse and reverse of two coins; woodcut heading, woodcut capital letter; pp. xiv. Some staining throughout, but not severe. Sewn into contemporary paste wrappers; untrimmed.
In 1732 the author went to France, and stayed for four years to do archaeological research, and was admitted to the French Academie des Inscriptions.
